We have a commission to show forth the love of God to the world at large. God is love and perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Love is a person and is tangible. The absence of love in our lives causes pain and innumerable social problems. The pressures of the modern world are crowding out love in our society and there is an erosion of community spirit and family values. Our love tank is dangerously running on the empty because we cannot give out what we do not have. Real love is something the world is in desperate need.
